Over the years our customers have shown a preference for two distinct ways to engage with us. Customers that have been doing business with us for a long time prefer to retain us on an annual basis. The generic benefits to them of engaging in this way are:
- They are guaranteed a fixed daily rate for a fixed term
- They can budget for the agreed fixed term
- They have the flexibility of multiple specialisations on call throughout the period
- If one or more of our team cannot work for a period of time we substitute a person(s) with the same level of expertise as part of the service
- They receive an incredibly low daily rate; through-out the enterprise, not just with the company or departments with which we engage.
We call this type of engagement –skills on call.
Some of our newer customers or people that haven’t worked with us before sometimes prefer to opt for a project orientated engagement. Projects can be as small as a scoping exercise or a health check on something internal through to an Enterprise wide implementation of new techniques, technology or culture spanning a number of years. They see the benefits of this type of engagement as:
- The expenditure is specific to the project
- They have a definitive list of the skill sets they have committed to at the start of the project
- They have a definitive change-management methodology built into the project
- They still receive the benefit that if one or more of our team cannot work for a period of time we substitute a person(s) with the same level of expertise as part of the service
- They still receive a very good and highly competitive daily rate.
We call this type of engagement –
project based.
